Two Premiership games gone, two performances from the boys from White Hart Lane that made the ‘top four' look average. I have to admit, during pre-season I was more than willing to write Spurs off as challengers to the top six, let alone the top four: Their friendlies were uninspiring, their starting 11 looked boring on paper, and they had just bought the 7ft beanpole from Portsmouth.
