Americans Abroad in the French Ligue 1 and German Bundesliga: Saturday August 22, 2009 – Bocanegra, Davies, and Cherundolo

There were several Americans playing abroad in the top European leagues on Saturday including French Ligue 1 and the German Bundesliga. In France, Carlos Bocanegra continues to be a regular start for Stade Rennais as they challenge for a spot in European soccer next season while Charlie Davies is adjusting quickly to his new team Sochaux.
