Sol Campbell in talks with Newcastle, so he can live in his big country house
Good news for Newcastle. With most of their star players headed out the exit door, Sol Campbell is
in negotiations with Newcastle United about a possible move to St James' Park.
The former England centre-half, a free agent after leaving Portsmouth this summer, is engaged to
Fiona Barrett – of the Barrett property empire family – and the couple have recently bought the
magnificent Hallington Hall in Northumberland, and is keen to settle down as Lord of the manor at
his new country spread.
