today.Playing without Xabi Alonso for the first time since his move to Madrid, the Reds looked
lethargic in the first half, with only one shot towards goal by Captain Steve Gerrard.Spurs took
the lead close to the break when defender Assou-Ekotto scored a screamer from outside the box.
