Trouble on Tyneside…Or a Glimmer of Hope?

How Newcastle United fans are able to deal with the turbulent year the club has had is anybody's guess. Once one of the pinnacle teams in the English game, the Geordies were battling on the European stage against the likes of Barcelona and Inter Milan. Now after slipping into the second tier of the English league system, the club is in a state of turmoil, with nobody willing to take a chance on either buying or managing the Magpies.
