Norwich fans despair at worst start in history
After relegation to League One last season, the least Norwich City fans were hoping for was to get
their season off to a winning start at home to their East Anglian rivals, Colchester United.
However, after Colchester banged in their fourth goal after 22 minutes in the 7-1 home defeat, and
with home supporters leaving the ground in droves, two incensed supporters got on to the pitch and
raced towards Gunn, one of them ripping up his £350 season ticket and throwing it towards the
manager.
