Southend United 2-2 Huddersfield Town
Southend squandered a 2-goal lead at Roots Hall this afternoon (Saturday) as Huddersfield stole a
point in the Shrimpers' opening fixture of the 09/10 League One season.
The Blues had taken the lead when Lee Barnard cooly slotted away a penalty in the 14th minute,
after Anthony Grant was fouled in the area.
