Southend United 09/10 Season Preview

So it all gets underway again for another season on Saturday when Southend United take on Huddersfield in the League One opener at Roots Hall.
For the average Blues fan, the summer has been frustrating to say the least. Just after last season's campaign finished, chairman Ron Martin said the Blues would be aiming to make quicker signings, giving new players the time to bed-in before the 09/10 season started.
