2009 LLTO La Liga Awards: Most Disappointing Club
Once again it seems like the easiest way to win a Most Disappointing Award is when you are coming off of a unusually spectacular season. And that was the case for Villareal Club de Futbol during the 2008/2009 season. The Yellow Submarines were so strong in 2007/2008 that any performance that was not among the league's best would be considered a mild disappointment at the least.
