Sunderland Finally Seal £16.5m Deal for Tottenham’s Bent

Another long running transfer saga is resolved.

Sunderland have completed the club record signing of Tottenham striker Darren Bent on a four-year contract.
Bent, 25, travelled to the north east on Monday for a medical and has finally signed after the clubs agreed a fee of £10m, potentially rising up to £16.
