Tigres Wins 2009 SuperLiga
Mexico's UANL Tigres are the 2009 SuperLiga champions after beating Chicago on penalties at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, IL. Chicago took the early lead when Patrick Nyarko scored in the 10th minute, but Itamar Batista equalized two minutes before halftime. That score held through the second-half. Under SuperLiga rules, the match went directly to penalties.
