Joe Kinnear’s heart can’t take Newcastle

Former Newcastle manager Joe Kinnear, who was forced to step down from his post before undergoing triple bypass surgery back in February, says that the club have offered him a two-year deal to return as manager an offer he is putting on hold due to his health problems. Says Kinnear:

"I have told Mike [Ashley] I am not going to go back to football for at least another three months and we will look at the situation then.
