Formation is a subject where everyone has an opinion, and everyone has a bias, mainly because it's so important. Every England debate since 66 has featured formation. Teams have one with diamonds, Christmas tree's, MW's, and all sorts, so we can understand that it is not the formation that wins trophies, but the teams adaptability and comfort with these tactics.
