Schalke 04s Jones and Tigres Castillo on verge of becoming US players

Jermaine Jones and Edgar Castillo have expressed their interest in becoming eligible for the US national team. Schalke 04 midfielder Jones is keen to switch allegiances to the US from Germany (where he was born) and is close to achieving this according to US Soccer Federation president Sunil Gulati.
