Thierry Henry, “I’d never advise anyone to sign for Tottenham”
Ex-Arsenal captain Thierry Henry denied he encouraged Patrick Vieira to sign for Tottenham Hotspurs, saying he just told Spurs boss Harry Redknapp his former team-mate would be a "brilliant signing".
Henry told the Sun:
I am Arsenal through and through. I'd never advise anyone to sign for Tottenham.
