The Transfer Window
Pre-season friendlies and meaningless tournaments have begun, and teams are shaping up for the new season. Man City have bought half a side, including four strikers, and don't look to have stopped yet. The other big/rich sides have been less active - Zhirkov, Glen Johnson, and of course Michael Owen the most notable.
