The Gunners drew their first pre season game against Barnet at Underhill after an evenly contested game.

Czech midfielder Tomas Rosicky returned from injury to captain the team. The talented midfielder played a solid 45 minutes in which he could have scored two goals. The home side were stubborn and pressing Arsenal but it was the Premiership outfit that created clear cut chances in the first half.
