David Beckham: Worthy Of An All-Star Selection?
Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber unveiled his two player choices for the 2009 MLS All-Star Game on Tuesday - about a week earlier than expected - opting to add home-crowd favorites Kyle Beckerman and Javier Morales to the roster. In doing so, Garber ended rampant speculation that he might be preparing to use one of his selections on part-time Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham, despite the fact that the superstar has yet to play a single second of the current MLS season.
