It looked like it was going to be easy breezy for Emmanuel Adebayor's move from Arsenal to Manchester City, but alas, a smooth, quick resolution does not appear to be in the offing, for one reason or another.
It might take a little longer than expected to add him to our summer transfer lists, but it does look like another transfer gossip favorite will be on the move soon, with Stewart Downing finally set to end his time at Middlesbrough in favor of a quick return to the Premier League and a taste of Europe.
