The Evolution of Brazil’s Kit
Great visual recap of all kits used by Brazil since 1914. The kit in the picture was used in 1945. The highlight goes to the red jersey used in the 1917 South American Championship.
The reason? At the time, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay played in white and there was no away jersey. Before the match Brazil - Chile, the side to wear a different color was randomly chosen, and the only jersey available was red.
