Michael Bradley Handed Meaningless Ban
In what has to be one of the more toothless punishments handed down in the history of international soccer, FIFA has suspended US international midfielder Michael Bradley for four games in response to improper conduct toward official Jorge Larrionda after being sent off late in the Americans' shock 2-0 victory over Spain in last month's Confederations Cup semifinal.
