According to the Score's Kristian Jack, the Julian de Guzman to TFC deal is 90% done. JDG has apparently been offered a 3 and a half year deal worth $10 million.

In some respects, he's the ideal candidate to fill our designated player spot. He's Canadian, he's still in his prime, and he's from Toronto.
