Historic Goal
The own goal by Darrius Barnes tonight not only gave the Wizards a point tonight in their SuperLiga game against New England, but it was also a historic goal. The own goal was the Wizards 700th in all competitions. This is the second time the Wizards have had a historic goal come from an own goal. In 2005, the Wizards 500th goal in all competitions came against DC United.
