Finisce l'avventura (durata solo una stagione) in bianconero del difensore svedese Olof Mellberg. Il "vichingo", giunto a Torino la scorsa stagione con grande voglia ed entusiasmo, dopo essere stato prelevato a parametro zero dagli inglesi dell'Aston Villa, lascia la Mole e l'Italia e si sposta in Grecia.
