Spanish League games to now be shown on ESPN in the United States
As you can gather by reading this article from the New York Times, ESPN has purchased the broadcasting rights to Spain's La Liga starting with the next season. This appears to be an effort on ESPN's behalf to compensate for the loss of the broadcasting rights for the Champions League (I can here that song in my head now) to Fox Sports.
