REPORT: USA Achieves The Unthinkable - Defeats Egypt 3-0, Advances in Confederations Cup


The USA had been all but written off before the match even started. But thanks to a scrappy goal by striker Charlie Davies, the Yanks found themselves up 1-0 before the half. Bob Bradley no doubt told them the good news in the locker room: That Brazil was already 3-0 up on Italy. This meant that the US only needed to score another two goals to advance.
