Rookie Update: Week 13

Steve Zakuani (SSFC, 1st overall)
Zakuani played like a #1 draft pick should in Seattle's 2-1 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes last Saturday. He looked extremely dangerous on the left throughout the night and consistently torched 'Quakes defender Chris Leitch with ease. He came off after 77 minutes of superb play, having recorded one shot on goal with three fouls suffered, the stats not nearly telling enough of what kind of evening the youngster enjoyed.
