Major League Soccer: Another look at attendance numbers; FC Dallas averaging under 9,000
It's almost a year into the 2009 Major League Soccer and attendance numbers continue to be low, most noticable with FC Dallas averaging 8,801 (through 6 games) and the overall average at 14,729. Most sports were expected to take a hit in their attendance due to the struggling economy but currently the league is averaging almost 2,000 compared to the 2008 season.
