Hammer goes down on West Ham takeover

West Ham have today been taken over by asset managing company, CB Holding.

With the shake-up have come the resignations of Chairman Bjorgolfur Gudmundsson and Vice-Chairman Asgeir Fridgeirsson. The new non-executive Chairman will be Andrew Bernhardt, who is a senior director with Iceland's Straumur bank, which is the major shareholder of CB Holding.
