Report: Arsenal agree €13m fee for Vermaelen
Arsenal have agreed a fee of €13m (£9.6m) to sign Belgian central defender Thomas Vermaelen from Ajax according to Dutch sports publication Sportweek. Sportweek conducted an interview with Vermaelen's agent Søren Lerby, in which the former Denmark international confirmed that his client's switch to Arsenal is on the verge of .
