Real Madrid`s Perez, “We talked to Wenger several times”
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez confirmed he did speak with Arsenal's Arsene Wenger about a possible switch from London to Madrid, but the Frenchman rejected the move.
Perez, who turned his attention to Villareal's Manuel Pellegrini after Wenger's "no", told L'Equipe:
From the beginning we have worked on two possibilities – Wenger and Pellegrini.
