West Ham United Favorites To Land Bates
According to Eric Paylor at the Evening Gazette, West Ham United are the favorites to land Middlesbrough defender Matthew Bates. Bates' contract with Boro ends at the end of the month.
Bates looked set to join Wigan Athletic but the change in managers has put the deal in doubt.
