Onyewu Takes Court Action
US National Team defender Oguchi Onyewu has filed suit in Belgium over an incident involving Anderlecht player Jelle Van Damme in the Belgian championship playoff with Onyewu's Standard Liege. Onyewu claims he was repeatedly called a "monkey" by Van Damme during the first leg of the two-game series and is pushing the case to bring to light the racial issues in the game.
