FIFA confirm the 12 cities to be used for 2014 World Cup in Brazil


Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, Brasília, Curitiba, Salvador, Recife, Natal, Fortaleza, Manaus and Cuiabá have been chosen to host the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The winning bids contained few surprises but the choice of Brasília and Cuiabá at the expense of Florianopolis raised a few eyebrows.
