Wee Gordie leaves Celtic
Gordon Strachan has resigned as manager of Celtic a day after they surrendered the Scottish Premier League title to city rivals Rangers FC.
During his four-year tenure Strachan led the Hoops to three consecutive SPL titles – the only Celtic manager to do so since Jock Stein – as well as a first appearance in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.
