Costa Rica Verano final postponed
The Costa Rican football federation has ordered that the Verano final between Liberia Mía and Herediano be postponed until further notice. Saprissa have filed a protest claiming that Liberia played the second leg of their semifinal with three players who should have been suspended due to yellow card accumulation -- Minor Díaz, Pedro Salazar, and Michael Umaña.
