Without the title to play for, you wouldn't have blamed Liverpool for approaching the West Brom game a little on the lacsidasical side, after their bubble was well and truly burst 24 hours prior. A West Brom side with Premier League survival at stake, they did indeed try and take the game to Liverpool; however it was the Reds who's class told over the course of 90 minutes.
