The rather ignominious departure from the Union Football League by the LAPD team was a slap in the
face. The coaches were nice guys, they were well organized, nice uniforms, clean boots.
My Dad Geoff, was a copper back in the day before he ultimately became the foremost authority on
child abuse in the United Kingdom.
