Mexico Opts Out Of Libertadores
In response to what the The Federación Mexicana de Fútbol Asociación (FEMEXFUT) felt was inappropriate treatment of their remaining clubs in the Copa Libertadores, San Luis and Chivas will not play their Copa Libertadores quarterfinal games and have withdrawn from the tournament. The move was made after CONMEBOL refused to allow rescheduled games to go ahead in Mexico due to concerns over the swine flu outbreak.
