No longer a joe-king matter for Barton
So Joey Barton has been suspended by Newcastle United, after he dared engage in a raging row with Toon boss, Alan Shearer, in the aftermath of his sending off against Liverpool on Sunday. Not really a surprise is it?
Barton was given his marching orders after a terrible tackle on Xabi Alonso, which led to the Liverpool midfielder leaving the pitch on a stretcher.
