Even Benitez Wouldn't Try And Replace Alonso With Barry A Second Time


Gareth Barry says he knows what to expect this summer and has learned his lesson from last year's transfer fiasco.

So presumably the Aston Villa midfielder is still hell bent on leaving the club but is aware it will not be for Liverpool.

Rafael Benitez would be mad to jettison Xabi Alonso and replace him with Barry, as he planned to do last time around.
