Bayern fires Klinsmann

The Juergen Klinsmann era at Bayern Munich is over.
The German champions have fired Klinsmann, ending his two-year tenure with the club as Bayern Munich sits in third place in the Bundesliga standings. He has been replaced temporarily by Jupp Heynckes.
Klinsmann was regarded as one of the top young coaches in the game after guiding the German national team to third place in the 2006 World Cup.
