Copa Libertadores wrapped up another pulsating week of action and saw the elimination
of defending champions Liga de Quito of Ecuador and Argentine giants River Plate while Ecuador's
Cuenca obtained a historic win against Boca Juniors and Brazil's Sport Recife advanced to the Round
of 16 in their very first Libertadores campaign.
