After 70 minutes, the Fire were cruising against KC, dominating in all areas of the field and comfortably holding a 2-0 lead. Blanco even had the time to entertain the crowd with his trademark bunny hop. Brian McBride scored 2 great goals, capitalizing on a KC mistake for the first one, and rising to head home a trademark header to complete a brilliant first half.
