PFA awards announced
It's Manchester United who dominate this years shortlist for the PFA player of the year award. Nemanja Vidic, Ryan Giggs, Rio Ferdinand, Cristiano Ronaldo and Edwin van der Sar have all been put forward, along with Liverpool Captain Steven Gerrard. Vidic is strong favourite to claim the award, despite a drop in form of late; he's helped by the fact the voting took place a few weeks ago.
