World Cup bid: The Big 70

The U.S. World Cup bid committee has contacted 70 possible venues in an early step toward firming up a plan for a 2018 or 2022 Cup.

The main thing these stadiums have in common: They have a lot of seats. Most of them have more than 60,000.

Bid committee leader David Downs says the group didn't have a specific minimum in mind.
