World Cup 2010: South Africa exposes its hypocrisy
I would like to point out the hypocrisy of the South African government when they deny the Dalai Lama's visa to attend a Desmond Tutu sponsored World Cup peace conference.
The official explanation is that the SA government feared that the Dalai Lama would use the conference as a platform to advocate Tibetan sovereignty and that it would distract from the 2010 World Cup and its apolitical message.
