Emelexista

Club Sport Emelec are based in the beautiful Ecuadorean city of Guayaquil. The club was founded by a New Yorker, George Capwell. An electric company executive in the United States, Capwell founded the Empresa Eléctrica del Ecuador, (Em-El-Ec) an electric company in Guayaquil, and decided to start an amateur sports league for employees of the company.
