Benfica & Sporting win to keep pace with Porto
Benfica and Sporting pull out narrow victories today to keep pace with league leader FC Porto. Benfica pulled out a 2-1 victory over Amadora as Oscar Cardozo scored both goals on penalty kicks while Amadora's Varela also scored on a penalty kick. Sporting got an early goal from Derlei and hung on to defeat the free falling Leixoes 1-0.
