150th title change goes to Kansas City
San Jose became the latest team to lose thier first title defense. It came at Kansas City in the form of a 0-2 loss. KC got goals from defender Aaron Hohlbein and forward Claudio Lopez. Kansas City has now won the UMLSCC 9 times. Nine is the fewest among teams that are still around since at least 1998 and only half as many reigns as New York.
